6/17/2010 - We're seeking private / corporate partnerships. Let's talk!
The Virginia Capital Trail Foundation is seeking to develop partnerships with corporations from across the nation to assist in the development of
enhancements for the 55-mile long, multi-use Trail, that will eventually connect the two historic capitals of
Jamestown - the site of America’s
first permanent English settlement in 1607, and Richmond - the present day capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

05/08/10 - 2010 Cap2Cap ride was a HUGE success!
Another fun, intense, exhausting, thrilling, fullfilling day of supporting the cause through (sort of) serious cycling and volunteering is behind us.

Once again, riders turned out in record numbers: 1,600 participants registered for the 2010 event! That's an 11% increase over last year's numbers, with the 50-mile ride growing the most. We think that means lots of first time riders, which means good things for the future of the ride. Funds from the ride will be used for upcoming projects like a Richmond Trailhead facility, signs in Charles County, advocacy work in the areas where new phases are being built, and continued promotion and community outreach. Thank you everyone for supporting our work!
Save the date: May 14th, 2011 for our next Cap2Cap Ride!
